Halloween

Cambria really enjoyed her second Halloween. This year she was the Energizer bunny. Very fitting costume for sure.

Nathan was a little bee. The cutest little bee you ever did see. Complete with antennae, a bowtie, and even a stinger.

I was a peacock, and even Amos dressed up this year! He was Dr. House. He had a cane, too, but it was in the car when I got this picture.

Nathan at 4 months

Height: 25.5 in.
Weight: 15lb. 15 oz.

He is so ticklish and loves to laugh. He has 2 adorable little dimples right at the upper corner of his lips.

He doesn't like to be away from the action, that is why he loves to be in the bumbo seeing everyone up close.

He sleeps with hands in funniest positions, usually with his fingers splayed every which way.

He talks to me every morning for 1/2 hour after he wakes up

He doesn't spit up near as much as he used to.

He is still very calm and easygoing

He doesn't fuss when Cambria tries (several times) to point to his nose as she learns the names of different body parts.

He is still up a ton at night. Usually at 12, 1:30, 3, and 4:30.

He pulls his paci out of his mouth. Not because he doesn't want it there, but because he is enjoying learning how to control his hands and grab things. He holds onto his monkey rattle while in his carseat.

He loves getting kiss-attacks on his cheeks by his ears. It sends him into a fit of adorable giggles!

New York, New York

Amos' brother and his wife made a surprise, quick trip to New York so we got the pleasure of going up to visit them. It has been several years since we'd seen each other. They got to meet the kids for the first time and we walked around New York.
Cambria loved walking around in the big city.
We met at Rockefeller Plaza. Our first stop was the Lego store. They have some neat lego sculptures like Atlas and a lego dragon that wraps around the whole store.

Next we headed to Toys R Us in Times Square. There was a ferris wheel in the store that captured Cambria's attention the moment she walked in. Here she is in line waiting for her ride.

We visited the Nike store, a MUST for any Hobby visit. Then headed to FAO Schwarz so we could see the big piano. What a fun toy store! Biggest stuffed animals I have ever seen. Lions, giraffes, and all kinds of exotic animals and even tree houses in the store.

Then we went to Central Park for a stroll, a carousel ride, and a refreshing ice cream!
