I've been wanting to go there for a long time because I found out they have some huge man-made waterfalls (the largest in North America). I knew the waterfalls would be cool, but the rest of the gardens were much more exciting than we expected. I really never thought I'd say a garden was 'exciting' but honestly, it was. It was almost maze-ish and there were 15 different themed gardens with winding paths, rivers and bridges, a rose garden, a garden shaped like a butterfly, an Italian garden with a 20-level cascading fountain, a secret garden (probably my favorite), and a duck pond (complete with a frog on a lillypad)! There was more, but my explanation can't do it justice, and neither can the picture above!
They even give you the option to ride around in a golf kart, which Amos petitioned for unsuccessfully! We compromised and took some shortcuts by walking through the perfectly manicured grass (don't worry, it's allowed!) It really did seem paradisaical there. If I was a bug, that is DEFINITELY where I'd live. All in all, well-spent fall afternoon!
