Merry Christmas!

We had a great visit in Maryland with my family. We got to relax and enjoy some good company and good food. Cambria was excited and woke up at 3, but we got her to go back to sleep (sort of) until about 6:30.

She started out her day watching the Grinch for the first time.

Then it started to snow, so her first Christmas was a white one.

Then she got to open up most of her presents before the adults even got to our stockings!

When she went down for her morning nap we all ate cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then opened our stockings. Amos surprised me with a new DSLR camera! I have wanted one for ages to take more creative shots. However, I think in the future Amos and my parents will coordinate better since they both had the same idea and got me a camera as well. Everyone knows how great it is to have continuous shooting and hd video when the little munchkin is growing up :)

Then the last present of the day was given:

It looks like just candy bars wrapped poorly, but upon further inspection...

"To Mimi & Geepy, Love Cambria AND Baby #2!!"

Amos brought some of his Christmas traditions and made apricot balls and chocolate balls as well as his traditional lamb chops for Christmas dinner.

We did some rootbeer sampling in shot glasses.
