We got an early start and headed to the lovely DC temple together.

Then we met up with our friend Nate to wander around the DC auto show. Cadillac was showing a pretty neat concept car, but unfortunately not a lot of concept cars ever get produced.

Ford was showing a lot of cars and I saw a color I've never seen before. It's sort of a melted butter yellow. I'm not a fan. Then there were the lime green cars which aren't too bad. Another one of Ford's was a fuscia color. It reminded me of nailpolish. I wonder if I'll see any of those out and about on the roads.

Then after we were done at the auto show we walked right down the street to Nando's.
I was really excited a few months ago when I found out there was one in DC since I didn't realize they had them in America and Amos loves Nando's like I love Cafe Rio (well, maybe I am getting a little carried away with that analogy, but it's close). It's a South African peri-peri place. We had a nice dinner, headed to Nate's for a bit, and then back home to our little sleeping munchkin and the stories of her day's adventures.
