Here is how the kids traveled, in umbrella strollers with connectors. Sometimes we would each push kid with one arm and roll a suitcase with another, and other times one of us would push the kids and the other would roll the suitcases. Then, when I was on my own for the week, I could easily take both kids with me.
On the flights there, since Amos has status with Delta, Nathan and I got to fly first class! Then for the next flight Cambria & Dad flew first class and Cambria even had her own seat! Nathan and I were in back with our own row, which was nice since he could sleep laying down.
We stayed at Laguna Cliffs Marriott, which was beautiful and right by the ocean. There was a huge hill down to the ocean, and we took a walk down there one morning. There were bunnies EVERYWHERE.

They had seashell cabanas at the pool, and a splash pad that the kids played in. They had amazing robes that we got to lounge around in.
It was Valet parking only, which was certainly fancy, though not easy if you have 3 kids and sometimes just need to get something from the car. Cambria enjoyed pressing the "aligator" button for us each time we headed out, or were returning back to our room. She also was fascinated by the ice machine.
Room service!

There was a playground nearby that the kids and I went to each day.
Tuckered out after a long day.
One day we went to the Newport Beach temple.
I got to go to some of my favorite places that I miss! Downeast Basics, Del Taco (best strawberry lemonade and chicken tacos ever, hands down) In N Out, and Cafe Rio! Cambria really loves Cafe rio, too.
It was Nathan's 1st birthday while we were there, so we went to Trader Joes and got some red velvet cupcakes (along with a bunch of other things I wanted to try!) Cambria was good at singing happy birthday to him all day!
And we watched his "Nathan's First Year" video with him before dad left in the morning.
We got to spend his birthday at Sea World in San Diego!
Pressing a souvenir penny.
Seeing the flamingoes
At the dolphin show.
A happy cute 1-year old!
Nathan LOVED this barking seal. He had such a great time watching him. He also loved the sea lion show we saw just before we left. He learned to clap his hands watching the show!
We got to visit and have dinner with our friends Ryan & Whitney one night, and Cambria went on a Carousel ride, and also saw our old Bethlehem friends Jeremy & Brieann for dinner at In N Out.
We stayed at a LAX hotel before we left. Amos had status there too, so they gave us some complimentary Haagen Daaz. I don't think I need to spell out Cambria's reaction ;) They also loved playing with the safe in the closet.
On our way home, with the Electric Guitar that Amos won for having the best unique way to use DealerSocket! It doubled as a sibling spat barrier!
