She's still not crawling but manages to get around the floor pretty well. She can get her stomach off the ground to be on all fours but she mostly goes backwards or rolls around and has a little circle radius where she can reach for her toys. She actually likes the kitchen floor a lot since she can move around more than on the carpet.
She loves to look at her board books and flip the pages herself. She has a lot of touch-and-feel books so I think at this stage she thinks books are for feeling instead of reading and she loves to touch the pictures and textures on each page.
With a pillowcase Cambria will play peek-a-boo. After a few times of showing her what to do, she will hold it up over her head and we say "where's Cambria?" and she pulls it off and we shout "there she is!"

She has started making a really funny face where she shapes her mouth into an "O" shape.

She uses her thumb and forefinger to pick up and eat her little flavored baby puffs on her own with no more help from mom.
She doesn't get to sit in her favorite spot on the window ledge any more because even with a table and pillows around her to catch her she still manages to pull herself around and onto her stomach and past the "safe zone" so she's limited to the floor or her crib now.

During bath time she won't sit still. She has to have her hands in the running water and climbs all around her little tub feeling the sides, the bottom of the acutal tub, and the foam back pad on it. Keeps me busier than she used to but I like to let her explore.
Her dad's favorite outfit! He calls her his strawberry shortcake.

She loves to imitate sounds and actions. She makes the "buh buh buh" sound, "duh duh duh" and if we repeat them back to her she'll keep going. Also if we smack our lips (kind of a kissing sound) she'll usually do it back. We're trying to teach her to do it if we say "kisses" but no luck yet. Also she loves to wave her arm and I'm trying to teach her to associate that with "bye bye." The words I *think* she understands are "shake" for when she's shaking her toy and "kick" for when she's in the bath.
Dad can I come to work with you today? Pleeeeeease? I'll be good I promise.

I used to be able to hand her envelopes or paper to keep her occupied but not any more. She eats the paper. Yuck.
Love this little girl!!

She's so cute Julie! Bronson is doing a lot of the same things.... scooting backward, or in circles, and he makes funny faces too, but instead of an "O" face, he sits and smacks his mouth open and closed... like a little fish! Don't you just LOVE these little munchkins?
Such a sweetie! Every time I see her I melt. Really. She's just about as cute as they come!
I love my little friend. She is super darling!
