11 Months!

11 months already!

She knows how to climb up stairs. When you chase after her and tell her "I'm going to get you!" she lays her head down on the stair so you can get her and give her lots of kisses.
One of her favorite places to play is between the banisters on the way up the stairs. She thinks it's hilarious if you run at her from further back in the kitchen.
Her hair is getting longer so I thought I would try and get it into pigtails. I was successful! But I guess they're more like little antennas than pigtails. I think I'll wait a little longer to try again.

She is doing great with her sippy cup now. I fill it with water since we cut down the amount of bottles we were giving her to 4 per day. It's really cute that when she drinks from the sippy she tips it all the way up, so she is looking at the ceiling above her, sometimes even so far that she arches her back.

She loves to try and stand up in the tub. It is a constant battle to make her sit down.

She has become a daddy's girl and cries when he leaves the room. She'll come to mom but she gets her fill of me during the day so when dad's around on the evenings or weekends he's her guy. (Dad's view of Cambria whenever he's home and not holding her)
When her dad leaves for work in the morning she has a routine. We look over the banister from the couch and she watches him go out the door and tries to reach for him. Then we go to the front window and stand on the window seat and wave 'bye bye' while we watch the car leave the driveway. This routine helps avoid the 'crying when dad leaves the room' problem.
She absolutely LOVES eating cheese and raisins.

She dances by standing up and bouncing up and down. In the morning we like to go into the office and play Crocodile Rock on itunes and I pull up the webcam so she can stand on my lap and watch herself dance.
She is the happiest and stays entertained the longest when she plays with things in twos. Two sippy cups or two cell phones or two blocks. That way she has one for each hand and tosses them around and against each other.
Her favorite play area is under the piano. She likes to crawl underneath it and look at her reflection and stand up against the bench. She talks to herself under there and really has a ball.

She loves to tear apart the lazy susan in the kitchen by taking out whatever she can find; mostly the measuring cups.
We love her! She keeps us entertained!
